Second Virtual Cohort Programme on Climate Change
The Second Virtual Cohort Programme on Climate Change aims to enable young people for more climate-conscious action in their community.
In April 2020, Revamp Rave Network Initiative curated its maiden edition of the Virtual Cohort Programme on Climate Change that features 30 tutors hosted 20 African leaders as participants for the programme during the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak.
The platform created to promote climate action and produce more informed climate actors across Africa through climate education ended with a valedictory ceremony and inspired Ecolog: A Quick Guide to Climate Knowledge, a book launched virtually for the participants in December 2020.
The Climate College Hub is a get started Innovation and sustainability learning platform for promoting Climate Change Education, Action and Sustainable Development implemented offline and online. The hub, a hybrid process, is developed to connect the world and bring climate education on a platform where young people desire to learn flexibly yet rigorous preparatory education and solutions about climate change with opportunities.
The Hub’s mission is to inspire and build well-informed, talented and motivated youths who seek capacity and knowledge in climate change and sustainable development.
We are happy to announce the call for the Second Virtual Cohort Programme on Climate Change, a 14 weeks course slated to begin in May through August 2022. It seeks to scale up climate efforts by equipping more young people for climate-conscious action in their localities.
